Ever wanted to try your hand at Pickleball? Now you can.
On Tuesday, October 3, Stratford Tennis Club is hosting a free Pickleball Come and Try Night as a special introduction to their latest program.
No gear, no worries; they will also provide the equipment.
“Pickleball is a racket or paddle sport in which two (singles) or four (doubles) players hit a perforated, hollow plastic ball with paddles over a 34-inch-high net played on a modified tennis court,” organisers said.
“Perfect for those who absolutely love racquet sports regardless of their dodgy knees, cankles or bionic hips. Pickleball is one for all. Bring a mate and see what all the hype is about.”
Also on the night is Fast4Tennis as well as barbecue and bar facilities available.
