Woodside Primary School is receiving over $500,000 for maintenance works as part of the state government’s Planned Maintenance Program.

The program’s projects are chosen through an evaluation process, which provides up-to-date information on the condition of schools for better targeted funding.

Minister for Education, Ben Carroll last Thursday announced 77 schools would share in more than $26 million of funding to undertake 78 projects such as fixing roofs and replacing windows, painting, and resurfacing floors, as well as some external works like improving pathways. Woodside Primary School has been granted $517,303.

“This program is about ensuring that every Victorian student has access to a high-quality education in the best classrooms and schools,” Mr Carroll said.
