Erratic driver
TRARALGON Police are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed a black Holden Commodore driving erratically on Thursday, July 13.
The vehicle was speeding and swerving on the road, narrowly missing other motorists. It is alleged the driver travelled from Sale to Heyfield to Nambrok to Rosedale to Flynn, where he finally crashed the vehicle. The driver was taken to Latrobe Regional Hospital and treated for minor injuries, and will be summonsed to Court at a later date for traffic offences.

Operating within CBD
OVER the last month, Operation Re-Forge and Operation Spotlight were conducted within the Sale Central Business District. These operations targeted thefts and anti-social offending in the area.
Numerous Police units conducted high visibility and covert patrols with the support from the Gippsland Centre Plaza, security services and covert Loss Prevention Officers.
As a result of the operations, Police engaged with more than 650 people in the community and processed 13 offenders for various offences.

Impound in Sale
AROUND 3.50am on Tuesday, July 18, Sale Police observed a Honda Accord Sedan driving on the Sale-Maffra Road, Sale.
The vehicle was intercepted for a routine check. Police alleged that checks revealed that the driver was cancelled and disqualified in June 2023 for evading Police; the vehicle was also recorded as unregistered.
Due to this, the vehicle was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1115. The driver may receive a summons for driving offences at a later date.
