Robotic innovation on display

HILLSIDE Dairies is hosting an open day tomorrow (July 12) before the production of their new 16 DeLaval Robotic Milking Machines get underway, inviting people to visit and have a look around.

Farm Owner Alister Clyne will be displaying the automated robotic milking machines, as well as the voluntary gating system and the worlds-largest Hanskamp feeding station.

Hillside Dairies is a 300-hectare property that is home to 1150 cows.

On Wednesday, July 12, from 11am to 3pm, hundreds of people are expected to flock into Tinamba to see equipment, ask questions and see demonstrations of the system.

Fellow dairy farmers will be in attendance, including DeLaval staff who will be able to answer any questions you may need, joining the attendance will be the Dairy Australia chief executive.

Hillside Dairies can be found at 575 Heyfield-Upper Maffra Road, Tinamba West.
