Sale men charged after burglaries
WELLINGTON Crime Investigation Unit have charged two men in relation to two commercial burglaries in Sale this month.
On Wednesday, June 14 it is alleged the men attended a business in Sale where they stole a vehicle.
On Thursday, June 15, the men returned and allegedly stole a second vehicle from the same business around 2am, which was then used to ram a police vehicle, causing extensive damage.
A 15-year-old Sale man was arrested and charged in relation to the incident.
A 34-year-old Sale man has been arrested and charged in relation to the incident. He has been remanded to appear at the Sale Magistrates’ Court today.
Police are appealing for any information in relation to the outstanding stolen 2023 Merlot red-coloured Toyota Landcruiser GXL dual cab with no licence plates (actual vehicle pictured).

Rosedale man charged after fatal collision
DETECTIVES have charged a 24-year-old Rosedale man following a fatal collision in Flynn on Friday, June 17, 2022.
Officers were told a man stopped his car on the Princes Highway, near the intersection of Rights Lane, to assist a motorist with a flat tyre.
An approaching Holden Rodeo allegedly struck the man, while he was standing on the roadway. The 55-year-old Rosedale man died at the scene.
The driver of the Holden has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, drive in a manner dangerous and careless driving.
He has been bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on June 21.
