NOVEMBER 25 was International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. It also marked the launch of the 16 Days of Activism campaign against gender-based violence – an international initiative that calls for awareness and action.
Police say they are committed to eliminating violence against women and ensuring the safety of the community. Family violence can be hard to identify, both for a victim survivor, and those around them.
