Volunteers from the Sale Cancer Council Group hosted Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday, May 19.
The morning tea hosted at the Lakeside Club was a tremendous success, raising much-needed funds for cancer research and prevention programs.
The Sale Cancer Council Group extended its thanks to the community, those that purchased entry tickets, donated items for raffle prizes and various products to sell at the produce table.
Events like Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea would not be possible without the generosity of people within the community.
The Sale Cancer Council Group extended a special thanks to Oz Flowers, Genny on Guthridge, Gippsland Business Machines, Val’s Bridal Boutique, Let’s Create with Carly, and those who volunteered their time to organise and help out on the day.
The morning tea boasted a decadent array of sandwiches, cakes, biscuits, tea, coffee and much more.
Four lucky winners took home major raffle prizes, including a $400 Edge Aviation voucher, $100 Radfords Butchers voucher and a $100 The Benson Family fuel voucher.
