Vehicle impounded in Sale

At 12.20am on October 18, Sale Police on patrol intercepted a vehicle on Cunningham Street, Sale.

Police allege the female driver was found to be unlicensed at the time, and said the evidentiary breath test conducted returned a positive result over two times the legal BAC limit.

The driver was also allegedly found to be in possession of a drug of dependence.

The vehicle was impounded for a period of 30 days at a cost of $1133.

The driver will be summoned to court at a later date for the traffic and drug-related offences.
