BOISDALE-BRIAGOLONG cricketer Austin Anlezark is set to play for Richmond in the Victorian Premier Cricket semi-final tomorrow.
The fast bowler, who recently returned from national duty with the under 19 side, opened the bowling for Richmond’s First XI in last weekend’s qualifying final against Carlton.
Anlezark returned figures of 0/47 off 12 overs, bowling to the likes of first class batsmen Evan Gulbis and Mackenzie Harvey.
Carlton drew the match after closing at 4/250 in pursuit of 8d/287.
The result meant Carlton progressed to the preliminary final as the higher ranked team.
Richmond will use its double chance tomorrow, taking on Ringwood in a do-or-die semi.
